A key state in Northern India undertook a transformative initiative to modernize its digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of government services and enhanced data management capabilities. At the core of this effort is the State Data Center (SDC), which supports various government departments and critical applications. To enhance its operational capacity and efficiency, a major project was initiated to upgrade both IT and Non-IT infrastructure while ensuring long-term reliability through operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
Nikom was entrusted with the task of delivering, installing, testing, and commissioning advanced systems for this state-of-the-art data center.
The project’s primary goal was to implement a secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure at the State Data Center, integrating IT and Non-IT systems to meet the growing demands of government services. The modernization ensures seamless support for digital transformation initiatives while maintaining high standards of security and operational reliability.
The State Data Center acts as the backbone for the state's digital ecosystem.
Advanced multi-stack technology integrating IT and Non-IT components.
Work in progress with steady advancements in deployment, testing, and commissioning.
Nikom’s responsibilities for the project encompassed the following:
